Before joining Gartner in 2008, Dr. Rudolf Andersen has 24 years experience in IT. Dr. Andersen has senior management experience from the telecom and media industry, the oil industry, and the university sector. His experience ranges from managing organisations where extensive use of outsourced services was practised to organisations with primarily in-house operations.

Dr. Andersen has extensive experience from management of change, e.g., down-sizing, mergers and acquisitions, as well as “managed organic growth”. He has spent the last eight years working with broadcasting, telecom, media, new digital media, and media-IT convergence.
